After recently purchasing a home, my family knew that there were many renovations that I wanted to make. For Christmas, my parents bought me a wonderful home design program called Chief Architect v. 10. I couldn't wait to get it home and try it out. I've always loved architecture From there I re-designed the rooms as I wanted them and even added rooms. Thanks to this program I was easily able to see the structure of my home, the materials that I would need to make it possible, and just how it would look before I got it started.
I was pleased with the results. I am now able to make a more informed decision about the updates and additions that I plan on adding. I even discovered that there was one room I was not happy with and re-did it until I had a look that I was happy with. Now I'm moving onto the next step and bringing the computerized model of my home to life.I would most certainly recommend this program to anyone looking to update their home. There are many controls and steps that you can use in order to custom design your home just the way you want it. You are able to see your design before you ever jump in and begin on your project. There is a landscaping tool so that you can design your yard around your home, a topography tool so that you can add dimensions to your yard, a tool for creating bay windows and curved walls and many more. You can also decorate the interior of your home with paint, trim, molding, furniture, flooring and more.
The interior design comes as a plus because you can create a layout of your room and decide where it is you want to place your furniture and how. Customer support is great. Everyone is friendly and helpful. One of the major things that a person must follow when purchaisng this software is to pay attention to the tutorials and the step by step guide. Without this, it is very easy to get confused and not know what it is that you are doing. It can be a very hard program to figure out if you are unsure what to do.
